Michael Brewster is an artist in sound. But he uses sound without becoming a musician; he does not make musical compositions. A sound, even the simplest, creates a great many possible relationships and makes real a whole series of possibilities. Brewster transforms this confusion of imprecise emotions in a highly attractive manner.
