Hap Tivey, Dialogue of Thirds, 1987. Installation with light. One enters a long hall. One side of the hall is divided into alternate squares of wall and opening. Each of the four openings is an entrance to another room. Across the hallway from each opening is a rectangle of luminous scrim. The colors and dimensions of the rectangle of light vary in each room.
